Meet the trainers

Module 1

Emma Clarke
CEO, Triquest
Emma is a business growth coach, mentor and trainer. Working with businesses to help them grow using their current assets, identifying new products and services or identifying funding. After over 25 years working in the Tourism, Hospitality, Cultural and Heritage industry for SMEs and public sector bodies, Emma set up her own business to provide support and guidance back into the sector she had developed her career through.

Alice Mayor
Founder, We Built This City
Alice is founder of We Built This City, an award-winning multi-channel retail destination on a mission to revolutionise London souvenirs and showcase the best of the city's creative community. From Carnaby Street to Battersea Power Station, We Built This City has traded from 10 pop-up shops across London and has an online presence at webuilt-thiscity.com reaching customers across the globe.

Module 2

Andrew Evans
Founder, Think Philanthropy
Andrew has started and run businesses and not-for-profits including a consultancy, a grantmaking charity, a coffee company and a church. So he's familiar with the challenges of trying to do the stuff your business needs to do to pay the bills at the same time as thinking about what you want your business to be in the future - and how you're going to fund that growth. When he's not training and coaching Andrew spends his time helping organisations to access funding.

Module 3

Nathalina Harrison
Co-Founder, Hive Collective
Nat is an accredited business coach, trainer, and facilitator and she holds a professional certification (PCC) from the International Coach Federation. She is passionate about helping creative micro businesses and specialises in coaching business owners to gain clarity on their business vision, strategy, and plans whilst improving their confidence and helping them build resilient businesses. Nat is also a co-founder of the creative business network Hive Collective CIC, which was formed in 2016. She is passionate about connecting the local community and is on a mission to inspire small business owners to partner and collaborate with each other.

Module 3

James West
Director, West Creative
James has advised several creative and cultural businesses across the UK – from volunteer-run charities to private companies and arts clients including Pleasance Theatre Trust and Royal Opera House. A successful business owner himself, he understands first-hand the challenges facing today’s entrepreneurs. His sector specialisms include theatre, live events and service-based products, offering advice and insight around marketing, sales, sponsorship, product development and growth planning.

Module 4

Louise Emerson
Director, Take the Current Ltd
Louise has over 25 years’ experience of running organisations having led a number of organisations; notably, Head of Business & Commercial Strategy, Natural History Museum and previously CEO of Cheltenham Festivals; before setting up her company, Take the Current. She is an accredited Coach and Mentor who works on growth, change or re-focus with managers and entrepreneurs across sectors: creative, culture, F&B, Telecoms, Media, etc.
